This store is closed, closed, CLOSED!!! Again! Went there on 3/5/11 based on the owner's comment below that they had simply moved, and they are not at the Paseo Verano address at the RB Winery. I don't appreciate that they didn't bother to update the fact that they closed... again.

AWESOME SHOP!!! My friends and I visited Children's Cottage at their new location in the Bernardo Winery and absolutely loved it!!! We loved shopping at the old location and just discovered where they've moved and we are so excited!! It is the cutest shop ever! They have all of the highest quality gently used items and have now added a great selection of new clothing, accessories, etc. It's hard to tell that it is a "resale" shop when you walk in. It truly is one of the nicest resale shops we've ever visited! Defenitely feels much more like a boutique than a resale shop! The prices are great and they are always friendly and helpful. We highly recommend visiting Children's Cottage soon!

We're very happy to announce that Children's Cottage is still very much in business! We've moved into our new larger and nicer location at the beautiful Bernardo Winery! With our "boutique" atmosphere, we now carry an even larger selection of both New & Gently Used quality clothing and equipment! We also carry new items including headbands, bows, baby leggings, tutus and dancewear! Children's Cottage is Family owned and operated for five years! The winery is a wonderful place to spend the day visiting the village shops and just strolling around the beautiful grounds.Come by for a visit and say hello! We look forward to it!

Talked with Cathy and PURCHASED an infant car seat base (ie. provided credit card info / emailed her a pre-paid UPS label, etc). Told everything was all set and that the item would ship the next day. After a few days of seeing that the label had not been used, called to follow-up & told that item had been sold elsewhere. No follow-up even though she had my phone number and email. Very poor service - this place should go out of business.

Defenitely one of the best children's resale shops I've found! My mom and I go in at least once a week and always find something great! Such an adorable shop! They have quality merchandise at terrific prices! Plus they always provide excellent service, always very friendly! I have recommended this shop to everyone I know and they all thank me! Love this shop!!!

My sister and I arrived at Children's Cottage on a Monday - excited to see the clothing and items based on the customer reviews. We were disappointed to see much of the clothing to be overpriced, in fair condition, and POOR service - the two persons at the counter did not greet, ask questions or offer to assist us, and the other few customers who walked in to browse were simply ignored. It was a disappointing experience in terms of quality of clothing, crowded displays, over-pricing and poor customer service. Consider shopping elsewhere - there are many other consignment shops in San Diego/No. County.

This shop is one of the best resale shops around! Wonderful atmosphere, so cute & they're always helpful & friendly. Great prices too! Children's' Cottage has become one of my favorite places to visit!

Cute little store with nice clothing. I bought a french boutique dress, Zutano dress and a pair of pjs for $14.00. The boutique dress alone would have cost me upwards of $40.00. You have to have the time to look and "weed" through the items as well as the knowledge of and starting prices for boutique and name brands.. You will pay more for Gymboree and Baby Gap - they are priced high at this store in my opinion. However the store was clean, the clothes were clean and the service was good. It is worth a trip over there!

The staff is friendly. But for resale, this place is expensive and not worth the drive. Some clothes were obviously faded, but because they had a brand name, they were priced ridiculously high.
