We are new to the area, so we have been on the hunt for fun places for the kids. We are so glad we came across Child's Play. We became members last month. My kids (1 and 3) are really loving it. We have been using our membership a couple of times each week. Great find!

Gotta try Kinderland Indoor Play and Cafe at W Sahara.. Staff are way nicer.. sorry Child's Play..

Seriuosly.... the worst customer service!!!! the people who run this place do not know anything about manners.. been there a coupe of times and they are so rude... the place isnt safe for younger kids either because older kids are way to rough...dont think im coming back.... my kids also got runny noses when we left!!!

Totally see why this place has been nominated for best party place...it's indoors, the kids have a blast, no work or clean up, loved the entertainment. Will have my son's birthday here next year, too!

We love coming here for several reasons. Let me just say that some of the reviews are misleading. We were never presssured to join. The web site is pretty clear if you read it. I for one am glad that its a membership because I believe it keeps the place more wholesome. As for the reasons we love it, its because there are so few places out of the heat and for toddlers. It is clean and safe for my 21 month old. At outdoor parks you may have to deal with unsupervised kids, drug deals, hot equiptment, large dogs etc. This is the great alternative!

I love Child's Play and so do my kids. The membership is very inexpensive on a monthly basis and I understand the need to have a rejoin fee so people aren't starting and stopping their membership in just the hottest or coldest months. I bring my 4 year old here two or three times a week so he can play and climb on something other than my furniture and I can relax a little in a secure environment versus watching him like a hawk at a public park. My 6 year old also has a great time here and doesn't mind coming even though he is typically one of the oldest kids there. It is always very clean and I have never had a bad experience with any employee or the owners. The membership contract is very clear and I never felt mislead in anyway. My boys get their hair cut here and are begging me to have their birthday parties here. I highly recommend Child's Play.

Went to a birthday party at Childs' Play yesterday. It was so much fun that I am going to plan my son's birthday party there, too! (Borrowed your idea, Stacey. Thanks!)

My kids really like it here. It's safe and clean, so I like it, too. It's like an indoor park without the wind or heat.

It's a great facility to play for younger kids but the mangament/owner leaves a bad taste in your mouth. He's just rude about his policies and unapologetic about it. And like the previous poster mentioned the payment/membership policies trap you into paying when you don't want to be. And I found out there is a reenrollment fee to sign back up again. Not really worth all that hassle when your'e there to PLAY.

We had a party for my seven year old son. The kids had a blast. The staff was helpful and the place is so clean. Glad we did it.

There seems to be a misunderstanding about the concept of Childs' Play. It is a membership-based facility. This is told upfront. There is nothing misleading about it. It is only month-to-month, with no penalty to cancel. The only thing is that you have to give a 30-day written notice. This is convenient compared to most memberships, i.e. the gym where you are locked into a longterm contract. The membership is a way to build a community where families can come back again and again at a reasonable rate. If you look at these types of business all over the country, you will see that this is one of the cheapest around. This concept is not for everyone (as made apparent by some of the reviews), but it does work for many happy families. Everyone is welcome. If you are looking for a place that is economical to visit over and over again that is safe and clean, you can try it out once. If you like it, sign up. If you don't, you don't have to. There is no commmitment by just trying it out. I think families are looking for places to take the kids. If this concept isn't what you are looking for, that's okay, but don't put it down when it works so well for so many others.

I know it is tempting to try this place out, especially with the vegas heat, but everyone should understand a few things before going. It is $10 for the FIRST VISIT only. After that, you have to purchase a membership at $24 a month, or buy passes (I think 10 passes for $90, or 20 passes for $160). If you opt for the membership you must give them your credit card info to keep on file, and they charge you automatically monthly. If you want to cancel you must submit notice in writing (that policy must have changed since one of the earlier reviews bc you just cannot cancel by telling them, as she mentioned), and it must be 30 days in advance. In addition, if you do not want to be charged monthly automatically you must pay for THREE months upfront. This would be fine however they are NOT UP FRONT about their policies. I was led to believe that I could purchase two months upfront without providing credit card info. I told one of their employees I did not want to be automatically charged, I just wanted the membership for two months. She said that was fine, they just wouldn't take my cc info, so they could not charge me after the two months. When we returned to the facility to play another day they told me I had to give them a credit card in order to use the facility. I explained that I was previously told that it was OK to purchase two months upfront and not provide cc info, but they didn't care, and told me that the employee I dealt with was wrong. It was either give them a credit card, or not use the facility. They said I could issue a cancellation if I wanted, after giving them my credit card. But that needs to be 30 days in advance, so I would automatically be charged for the following month bc I was already too late to cancel for it!! I will never return, not that they would allow me too anyway despite the fact I have paid for it this month!! I read the other reviews complaining of their business practices, and ignored them, but I should have listened. They are MISLEADING. BEWARE!! It doesn't seem expensive upfront, but when you are forced to pay every month in order to get the $24 per month rate it becomes very pricey very fast, especially when you can use a park outside for free.

I'm glad that we found this place. It's a great alternative for families in Vegas. My kids love to play here and it's nice that they offer classes, too.

I have my 2 children during the summer time. In Las Vegas there arent many places to bring kids without getting heat stroke. Paying $36 a month for my 2 sons to play every weekday is a great deal. I get a free cup of coffee and my boys make friends as well. I wish i had thought of this concept myself.

I've read a few posts about the membership Childs' Play has. Our family likes it. We can go a few times a week when I only paying once a month. It fits into my budget. It might not work for everyone, but it's a great alternative to spending our week's budget on tokens.

I recently hosted my son's 4th birthday at childs play and it was a complete hit. the photographer on staff was fun and friendly with the children. The other staff members catered to my every need, from setting up the birthday room to cutting and serving the cake. It was a relief to have them lead the party and make it a stress free for me as possible. I might just do this for his next birthday!!

It's an okay place but do not like this $10 first time and then you have to buy a membership. I would pay $10 per kid each time but don't like the whole business plan.

This is a fun afternoon with the little ones. Lots to do and it's indoors!

Okay, when I looked at this place's website, they stated $10 for the first visit, then you have an "option" for $150 ticket for 15 visits or $24/mo membership fee. I visited there recently. Paid $10. I thought this place was not worth it to sign up for a membership because the place was too crowded - only a few eating areas and not as big as I expected so kids would get bored easily if we went there too often and my child is going to pre-K at the end of August. I had a chance to go back there again because my friend who has a membership invited me (according to her, if I am invited by a member, I only have to pay $5.) However, I was REJECTED from entering the place! They said $10 or $5 addmission fee is ONLY FOR THE FIRST TIME so if I didn't sign up for a membership today, I couldn't enter their facility anymore. Their website didn't state clearly the $10 is only for the trial. How would I know if they didn't say anything? I told them I would like to pay $24 membership fee today and would like to have just one month because my child is going to pre-K but they even didn't accept us for just one month membership. They only accept membership when you give them your credit card number! It's a business for kids! If they don't accept walk-in customers, they should have stated that their facility is only for members. I would never go back again. Please be careful, they are very nice if you decided to sign up but they only care about "their business" and not kid's feelings. What a joke.

A fun, new and clean place to take the kids!

We took our 3 kids here last month and was quickly pressured into a membership that is deducted from your bank account monthly - sounds good till you see what you have to go thru to cancel. Every time we went at least one of my kids would get sick (just colds and once pink eye). I found this odd sice we visit ChuckECheese often enough as well as attend community center classes and we've never caught anything in those busy places. My kids were bored with the toys by our 3rd visit. Over all, it was a waste of time and a bigger waste of money.
