Developers of Chinatown Plaza used architecture reminiscent of the Tong Dynasty to give the shopping plaza - Las Vegas' largest concentration of Asian businesses - an authentic look and feel. The plaza is fronted by a traditional Chinese arch, and the venue features Chinese art, music, and statues of the Journey to the West of Xuan Zang and the Monkey God.
The plaza features arts and crafts gift shops, the only Chinese bookstore in Nevada, a Chinese herb shop, and an immense Asian supermarket. Nearly one dozen restaurants are on the premises, featuring Chinese, Filipino, Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese cuisine.
