My husband and son are regular visitors/shoppers at Choo Choo Bob's, so the idea of having a birthday party there was an easy one. Choo Choo Bob's is a fantastic location for a toddler birthday! We had our son's 2nd birthday party at CCB's and it was perfectly appropriate for this age group - no big kids zooming around and even younger party-goers had a good time cruising the train tables and going through the goodie bags. Parents could pick up coffee and tea from a neighboring store, and could relax and watch the kids toodle around before we went in the party room. The staff was extremely helpful and also suggested that we could order pizzas from Davanni's and that was a great idea. The perfect close was a heavenly cake from La Patisserie - the BEST cake I've ever had! Chocolate buttercream frosting to DIE for. I've been to about a billion toddler birthday parties lately and it seems you're either fending off much- older kids or you're struggling with the entertainment. This is a perfect setting for a younger kid's party if you're not going to do it at home. We felt it was $100 (well, $140, if you count the pizzas we ordered) well-spent - and are even planning on going back again for his 3rd birthday.

What a fabulous place! My toddler asks to go to Choo Choo Bob's every day. He loves anything and everything about trains. The owner is very friendly and has kids of his own. There are four train tables for kids to play with and a bench for grownups to watch the fun. The selection of train gear for kids and hobbyists is great. Even grandpa bought a trainset for himself. We've sent other kids from daycare and they all love it too! What a great local business to support. They even have a room for train birthday parties and story time on Saturdays.
