Somehow, Chuck E. Cheese's just never grabbed us, but many kids we know just love visiting here (hmmm, could it be the crazy casino atmosphere, with tokens, tickets and prizes? The Chuck E. Cheese show? The rides?). The chain features a roomful of family-friendly arcade games and rides and a musical show starring Chuck E. Cheese himself. When kids win at the games, they get tickets that they can exchange for prizes. The food is passable, as fast food goes. Mainly pizza, with a small salute to salads, a short assortment of subs, and desserts like cotton candy and brownies. In short, it's all one big kids' menu. The Standard Party includes a decorated table; cake, pizza, and drinks; free tokens for each child; special treats for the birthday kid, and a visit from the silly mouse. The Super Party adds a goody bag, $3 additional tokens, 100 free tickets per child, and 500 free tickets for the birthday child. Call for prices; they vary by location.
