dirty, needs some tlc

3 years ago we had our daughters first birthday party at the one on 35th and northern and had a great party. We opted for the one at 67th and bell for our youngest's first birthday. We went a week early to check it out after we had already booked the party. We had to wait in line for 30 minutes to get in. One worker wanted to let some people in and the manager griped then in front of everyone that we just had to wait. I thought he was having a bad day. At our baby's party the next week he came by and asked if everything was okay and was very polite. I commented to my sister it was odd to see a different side of him. We were told after the party we could have some other tables to sit at. As soon as we were done with our 90 minutes and paid the manager turned. We were moved from table to table to table to table and then told to get out, all within about half an hour. Seriously, moved 4 times. He even said that we had been over heard cussing and had to leave, which was truly absurd. We just don't. He must have just wanted to make room for the line at the door. I honestly don't know what he was thinking. In any case, Avoid 67th and Bell. It is not worth the aggravation and the embarrassment to you or your guests.

Okay, I had a fantastic time here and I am part of a stay at home moms group. What I Instantly liked was as soon as you walk in there is a gate. When you go through, they put a sticker on the kiddos(little ones go on their back to not pick it off)and it has a numbe. They also give you a black light stamp on your hand with the same number so when you leave, they check to make sure the numbers match so no one takes your kid! I thought it was really nice that they had a separte area for the little ones too! My son was only 12 months when we went and couldn't walk yet, so this was a great area for him. And they had fun little rides for his age too! For the older kids area, the had all the rides and games and there is a "green screen" for them to go play in when the "band" plays, and it looks like they are in the video. Chuck E. comes to the front of the building and does the hokey pokey and plays songs and dances a little. Then throw a whole bunch of prize coupons in the air fo rthe kiddos to scurry around and get. My son even made an older girlfriend that day. He loves the Gate Lady! He wanted her to hold him all the time...To bad she had to work! I am sorry that the other comment was sooo bad. As for parents letting their kids run amok, that is NOT the establishments fault, but the parents. As for the employees looking uninterested, how interested would any of us be if we had 150 kids running around screaming? I get tired with just my 14 month old! But I thought the staff was very nice, and they seemed busy running around, wiping tables, delivering food, and they were couteouse to me.

I took my son there a few months back with another friend of mine and her daughter. Not only do parents let their kids run amok, but the people who work there are just as disinterested. My son was playing a skeetball type game and some other kid took the balls and threw them in another game. When I asked one of the workers to get them, he said he'd be right back, never came back and twenty minutes later, we found someone else who basically said they didn't know how to retrieve the balls from the other game. The kids wanted to play air hockey but the puck was missing. We had already put the coins in when we realized this. Not two seconds later, a man and his daugher walked up to the game, the father took the missing puck out of his back pocket and proceeded to play on our coins. This same man openly instructed his daughter to push my friend's daughter out of the way to jump on one of those bouncy car rides she had been patiently waiting for. I don't know about any of you, but that's not the example I want my kid to see. Not worth it. Save your money and go somewhere else.
