We scheduled a birthday party for a five-year-old at the Superior, Colorado Chuck. E. Cheese and were very impressed. The word that comes to mind first is "painless". Upon arrival kids are asked if they are there for a birthday party and then directed to the special party area where a table is reserved, labeled, and preset with the appropriate cups, plates, etc. A waitperson is assigned to coordinate such things as what beverage(s) to bring (in pitchers), what kind(s) of pizza, and when Chuck E. Cheese himself will come by to sing to the birthday child. Kids get a preset number of tokens to play with and the birthday child gets a special ticket with a bonus number of tickets that can be redeemed for prizes at the end of the party. You can bring your own cake or get one from the restaurant which is delivered in a timely fashion. The party is appropriate for kids from about four to seven. C.E.C. can handle as big or small a group as you like. Parties are cleaned up and reset for the next group quickly so there isn't a lot of time flexibility. But, it's easy to book the party either by calling the restaurant directly or booking it online. By the way, the pizza is OK - certainly acceptable to almost every child. And, they have a great salad bar and other menu items (at an additional charge) for those who aren't big fans of pizza. Taken all together, we highly recommend the setting for little ones birthday parties away from home.
