Chula Vista School for Creative and Performing Arts is a magnet school program for young men and women in grades seven through 12 who possess a special interest or talent in the arts. The school offers an exciting and innovative curriculum designed to provide students with professional, in-depth training and experience in all areas of the arts, while at the same time ensuring a strong academic education which will culminate in a high school diploma and satisfy college entrance requirements. Students may choose to focus on art, dance, drama, music (vocal or instrumental), or stage technology. Students need not be skilled artists or performers, nor is previous instruction required; all that is needed to enter the School for the Creative and Performing Arts is the desire to learn and the determination to perfect the skills and techniques to express their art. Visits are welcomed and encouraged at anytime.
