Clark Park is the best kept secret in the city as far as winter activities.

There is a regulation size ice hockey rink, artificially cooled, and maintained with a Zamboni and a dedicated crew. It is much better skating than Campus Marshes, and it is free. Skates are available to use at no charge. There is pick up hockey for the kids every week night (again free), and adult pick up hockey Sunday mornings ($5 donation of which the procedes go to operate the zamboni).
For years I have taken my son there to skate. Afterwards we go across the street and eat at any of the excellent mexican resaurants. Don't miss this prize jewel of Detroit. Take your kids (and/or yourself) to Clark Park this winter.

I have been walkin around clark park for about 3yrs now. I usually walk in the morning and have not had any problems there I have been pretty comfrotable walking there and have noticed more activity of more people walkin there with there families that makes me happy to see. the only problem is that the side walks are very bad lately I have benn injuring my ankles ar muscles cause of the crackes in the side walks is there any thing that can be done to get the side walks fixed. concerned faithful walker at clark park. thank you. the workers there cleanning the park have ben doing a great job keep it up!
