The group emphasizes study skills and organization and the approach to tutoring has a strong mentoring component. The Summer Writing Program focuses on expository essay writing as well as all aspects of the writing process from literary analysis to shaping and supporting a thesis to a polished final draft. The writing program is designed for students ages 13-17.
