    about Clay's Restaurant:

Clay's Restaurant is a sprawling, rustic compound of a restaurant, with a large grass playing field, a couple of big sandbox areas, an old wooden wagon to climb on, and an adjacent petting zoo with sheep, goats, ducks, rabbits, horses, and more. Plenty of outdoor tables are available, so parents can eat and keep an eye on the kids at the same time.

The menu features some great burgers, chicken-fried steak, catfish, chicken dishes, and a variety of sandwiches and salads. Kids' meals include corn dogs, burgers, popcorn shrimp, chicken fingers, or grilled cheese, plus fries and a drink. High chairs are available, but the restrooms do not have changing tables.

The restaurant has arcade games, and a separate room that can be reserved for birthday parties or team parties - you can even bring in a moonwalk or pinata.

    Clay's also offers catering.

    getting there:

From I-10 West (Katy Freeway), go north on Highway 6 for about four miles, then turn left on Clay Road. The restaurant is about 1-1/2 miles ahead on the left.
