Located on the shores of Clear Lake, the Park is on both sides of the street, but the main playground and picnic areas are on the south side of Nasa Road 1.

Clear Lake Park has some nice fishing spots, including a pier, and a panoramic view over the waters from Nassau Bay to the Kemah Bridge. The breeze off the lake cools things down a bit on hot days, and also makes the park a good spot for flying kites.

Several playground structures and swings accommodate gaggles of kids. Plenty of tables (some shaded) with barbecue pits are available for parties or picnics.

Across the street, on the north side of Nasa Road 1, is another parking lot for the larger sports areas, including baseball and softball fields, soccer fields, and tennis courts. More picnic tables and one small playground area are also located in this area, near the water.

This site is also home to the Bay Area Community Center [281.326.2955] and Bay Area Museum [281.326.5950], which is in a historic home on the shore. Hours for the Museum are Tue-Fri 12n-4pm, Sat 10am-5pm, and Sun 11am-5pm.

A public boat ramp is located just west of the park, and the park office is in the parking lot on the south side of the street, open Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm. Restrooms are also on the site, on both sides of the street.
