Both artful and deliriously fun, this fountain serves as a great way for kids of all ages to cool off in the Florida sun. Surrounded by shaded sitting areas for parents and friends, the fountain is located at the foot of Clematis Street - the heart of downtown West Palm Beach - in the courtyard behind the West Palm Beach Public Library (which by the way has an awesome and active children's department occupying its bottom floor). In addition to the Clematis by Night Fountainside Concert Series on Thursday nights, the city often stages lunchtime concerts in the courtyard, so call ahead or check our calendar and see if you can make a day out of it with picnic, books, tunes, and lots of spray.
