Ten miles southwest of downtown,
Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) is relatively easy to navigate as it has just four concourses. CLE is a Continental Airlines hub, and as such, has a tawny lounge for Continental's frequent fliers. If you're directing out-of-town guests who aren't expecting you to provide room, board, and transportation, tell them this: most hotels provide free shuttles to and from the airport. For those not toting oodles of luggage, the
Rapid is the way to go. Taxis are generally available at the airport; you can anticipate that a cab ride from the airport to Tower City will cost about $25, including tax. Restaurants in all price ranges and a sampling of shops, including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum Store, are also here.
