The Clinton-Macomb Public Library's Main Branch is one of the largest and nicest libraries in metro Detroit. Just walking in you'll know this isn't your ordinary library, with its grand central staircase, replica of the Earth spinning overhead, Pewabic tile fountain, and periodical lounge with upholstered chairs and a fieldstone fireplace.
You'll have a hard time getting your kids out of the children's section - there's a colorful puppet theater, play structures and toys, an operating train, and storytime three days a week.
The library has more than 40 computer terminals and offers free wireless internet access to card holders. Residents of Clinton and Macomb Townships are eligible for a library card.
