about Codman House:

The stately Codman House, overlooking a farm and vast grounds, was a powerful force in the lives of five generations of the Codman family.

The interiors, furnished with portraits, memorabilia, and art works collected in Europe, reflect the individual style and taste of each family member who resided there. The grounds boast a hidden Italianate garden which features statuary, and a reflecting pool filled with waterlilies. It is a beautiful spot to consider how life was lived in days past.

Annual events held at the house include an Antique Vehicle Meet in July and an Artisans' Fair of crafts in September.

getting there:

Take Route I-95/128 to Route 2 west. After 4.5 miles, turn left onto Route 126 south. After crossing the railroad bridge, turn left onto Codman Road. The house is on the left. The Codman House may also be reached by Commuter Rail from North Station to Lincoln.
