Parents from miles around make seasonal pilgrimages to Coggins, which has about three times the selection of any other children's shoe store in the metro area. The airy, open store stocks Ecco, Umi, Robeez, Born, Stride Rite, and other highly regarded brands, and the sales staff is well-trained in finding the right match for children's structural needs and styles.

A neat crawl-in play area helps any wait time go by faster, and every child gets a balloon once fittings are done. The shop also carries a nice selection of fancy socks and hair accessories to get the pulled together look.

In the Eastlake Shopping Center, near Marshall's on Roswell Road/120.

I bought a pair of shoes from their John's Creek store before they closed it. They didn't check to make sure that I had matching sizes and 1 left and 1 right shoe. When I sent the shoes to my nephew for Christmas he was confused when he had 2 right shoes in different sizes. I called to try to get a matching left shoe and the owner said he couldn't help me. I got the old song and dance about return policies, etc.

Luckily the shoes were Merrell's and 1 call to their customer service number got me a replacement pair.

Great shoe store. This is where all of my kids got their first walkers and I remember Mr. Coggins fitting me for shoes in the old store on the square in Marietta. The same store he fitted my mom in for her first walkers. We have shopped Coggins for 3 generations.
