Amenities at the Columbia Heights Community Center include a playground with areas for tots and older kids, outdoor basketball courts, a playing field, computer lab, game room, studio, and fitness center. The Center offers a free Olympic tae kwon do program as well as an after school program including homework help and free time for play. It is also home to one of the Department of Parks and Recreation's Cooperative Play Preschool Programs (for ages 18 months to five years).
