about Columbus Park:

Columbus Park, designed by renowned landscape architect Jens Jensen, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Along with its cascading waterfalls and well-maintained lawns, the 135-acre park offers a variety of recreational activities.

The fieldhouse has a gymnasium, weight room, boxing gym, and game room that includes pool, table tennis and table hockey. Performing arts, crafts, and dance classes are available, along with organized sports instruction. The park also has an outdoor Olympic-size pool, a wading pool for children, a basketball court, a playground, three baseball fields, an archery range, and a nine-hole golf course. Cross-country skiing is possible in winter.

Inside, Columbus Park features a renovated banquet hall in the historic refectory, which is available for wedding receptions, banquets and other festive occasions. The large, airy building features bay windows, hand-painted trim around the interior ceiling, a piano, and a full kitchen with industrial-size refrigerator and stove.
