Pure bliss, is how one of our readers described the ice cream at this West Village storefront, so of course we had to investigate.
But bliss doesn't really begin to describe the perfection of the confections concocted by the Brazilian brothers who run Cones. The ice cream is made by hand, on the premises, in small batches, and the quality is extraordinary enough to cause our child companions to observe that they'd never really had ice cream before.
Note that some batches are so soft and creamy they can only be eaten in a cup!
