The Miami-Dade Parks offer afterschool care weekdays during the academic year for Miami-Dade Public Schools. Activities include homework help, indoor/outdoor play, arts & crafts, and sports. Children from first grade up are invited to participate. Sports programs include flag football, volleyball, basketball, track and field, soccer, tennis, and softball offered in rotating three month periods depending on the season. These programs are offered for children ages eight through 15 years. The schedule of practices and games and particular sports varies depending on the location, so call the phone number above or check the website for more information. Summer camp programs are also offered.
