Convent Elementary School offers the unique experience of an independent Catholic, single sex education within a coed community.
Emphasis is placed on achieving the highest level of scholarship while learning to take on leadership roles as responsible, compassionate, and contributing members of society.
Convent offers a rigorous academic program with an emphasis on cross-curricular studies. The core curriculum includes literature, language arts, foreign languages, social studies, mathematics, computer technology, art, music, physical education and religious studies.
The school is located in the neighborhood of Pacific Heights and shares a campus with Convent of the
Sacred Heart High School and
Stuart Hall for Boys. Stuart Hall High School is located at 1715 Octavia Street.
Schools of the Sacred Heart is part of the 21-member nationwide Network of Sacred Heart schools all of which commit themselves to a personal and active faith in God, a deep respect for intellectual values, a social awareness which impels to action, the building of community as a Christian value and personal growth in an atmosphere of wise freedom.

Sacred Heart hosts a
coed summer program which includes academic, artistic and sports classes.

Summer programs: Every summer Schools of the Sacred Heart host a coed summer program. Each three week session provides an array of classes including: academic enrichment and support classes, languages, test preparation, basic skills, science, sports, drama, art, and technology. Extended care is offered for grades K-6 in both the morning and afternoon.
K-6 classes are located on Broadway between Fillmore and Webster in San Francisco. The 7-8 grade classes - Prep for Success in High School - are offered at the Stuart Hall High School campus located on Pine and Octavia. A Counselor in Training program for students in grades 7-8 is also offered in conjunction with the K-6 program.
