I am one of the mothers of Coppell Montessori Academy, I was here since the school opened and I had the opportunity to have both my older and younger one there. I was shocked to read the review below and I know the Director for many years and I cannot be happier with her support. She is firm but loving and one of the things that struck me about her the most is that in every decision that she takes in this school has the purpose of fulfilling the needs of children, parents and teachers. I am very thankful that I have the opportunity to have my children in Coppell Montessori Academy, The academic level of the school is very superior and I am very happy with them, I strongly recommend this school to all parents who want best for their children.

The staff is wonderful! I actually loved the staff here BUT the director is HORRIBLE! She is very unprofessional and doesn't remember a thing she tells you! She also yells at the poor staff in front of staff and children! Because of the director poor work ethics I decided to withdraw my twins and also have friends who had to do the same. Everything seemed to be running great until she started popping out of nowhere! I've also seen a change with the staff. When I asked as a concerned parent, the director wasn't very polite! Think before you try! I do not recommend this school unless if you're okay with your children witnessing yelling and unpleasnt attitudes from the adminstration!

Coppell Montessori is a great school! My child has shown great improvement in every way! They have great structure and staff with the chidren! I highly recommend it to everyone! My child was potty trained and learned so much in no time! I love the teachers and assitants,they've always gone the extra mile in every aspect concerning my child. Word of advice.......give it a try!

This school is great! There is always someone there to help you with your child. The staff is great, Miss Ruby is wonderful! Our grand child has shown such improvement since attending this school,in her speech and has learned to love books and puzzles. I think it is the child to teacher ratio that does the trick here. There is a school not too far away that my other grand daughter went to. I believe they go to the max on the ratio of kids per teacher. They did provide a daily activity sheet, but to me they had to, it's so crazy at the begining and end of the day there, your not able to talk to anyone without waiting. We were better off calling them with any questions or concerns. But it's great for parents who want to bring their kids to 'Dizzy World" everyday.

My son went to Coppell Montessori for 3 months and it was a horrible experience! By far, the worst child care / schooling experience I've ever had! Although, it is a very structured school, it's almost as if the children aren't allowed to be kids at all. From what I saw the curriculum did not include much physical activity at all, and so my son would have so much energy at the end of the day, he was ready to burst! He was moved into a different classroom after success w/potty training and that's when all the problems started happening. It was as if he changed overnight, he would have crying fits every day about going to school, he stopped napping and eating his lunches, and he seemed to suddenly show his frustration through physical aggression, it was crazy! When I would try to talk to his new teacher about it, she was very rude and refused to even talk to me about it, stating that I had to talk to the director. Now he is in a new school that is well known and just about a mile away from Coppell Montessori, and it has been a breath of fresh air! He is happy to go to school every morning, he takes his naps and eats his lunches, and doesn't come home w/so much pent up energy. The best part is that the staff is amazing! They are so friendly, and the teacher's communicate so well. They actually give a daily communication sheet on how his day went, and they worked w/me to stop his bad habits of hitting that suddenly appeared. All I can say, is if you want your child to have a good experience and look forward to their schooling and education, and have some one on one positive interactions w/their teachers........Do not take them to Coppell Montessori!

Coppell Montessori told me they would try my slightly special needs child in one of their classrooms for a few weeks to decide if that was a good environment for him. They gave him four hours and called me to come get him because he wasn't eating lunch and didn't want to take a nap. What child will do those things in a new place on the first day? They let us try a day because they wanted to say they try to work with all kids. They didn't even give him a chance. Don't take your child here if they have special needs! They want only conforming children. NOT a nurturing environment. Terrible feedback and the director doesn't remember what she has told me from day to day.
