The Coral Gables Youth Center - winner of our 2009 Parents' Picks award for best local indoor playspace - offers tons of activities and classes for families. The center includes a small theatre, gymnasium, teaching kitchen, a fitness center, indoor playground, and an athletic complex which includes a football field, two soccer fields, three baseball/softball fields, outdoor basketball courts, and a playground.

Activities offered for children at the center include theatre arts, arts & crafts, ceramics, gymnastics, baseball, basketball, soccer, dance, roller hockey, flag football, cooking, and golf.

Members receive priority registration and discounted tuition for all programs. Coral Gables residents and non-residents who are not members can participate in almost all activities (except fitness center), but they pay a little more and wait longer to register.

CLUB P.L.A.Y.(premier leisure activities for youth) is an afterschool and school vacation day program. A variety of art, dance, and sports programs are offered; contact the center for more detailed information.

Camps offered for the summer include general activity camps as well as Sports, Art, Gymnastics, Dance and Performing Arts camps.
