The Plaza, which spans 15 city blocks, is the oldest outdoor shopping center in the country. Shoppers can find Spanish tile, piazzas, and terra cotta rooftops amidst the fourteen blocks modeled after Seville, Spain, one of Kansas City's sister cities.
The Plaza is bounded by JC Nichols Parkway, Ward Parkway, 46th Terrace, and Summit and offers mostly upscale retail, dining, and some nightlife. The famous Plaza Lights are an annual highlight of Kansas City's holiday season.
