Greetings, I am a psychotherapist who is working in conjunction with Coventry Farms and also am involved with their Right Step Program. I have had the chance to get to know Chris and Jim and the staff from The Right Step. I hold several masters degrees and have studied at the doctoral level and am presently still an academic. I of all people appreciate the, and require!, safety and confidentiality when providing equestrian facilitated growth groups and psychotherapy. My groups are geared toward people of all ages and backgrounds, both young and old. I find myself in an environment where these horses are very loved. Many of these horses have served this family business for some time and are offered to help those in need as companions in their riding program for people with disabilities. I know that the family takes safety very seriously for the horses and people and upon knowledge of any circumstance that compromises safety, there is a board of directors and a wide range of professionals to address the situation. They take their work serious and in any business there are bad days and good days, including growing pains to find the right fit to deliver the quality of product a business aspires to. I would consider giving them a chance and participating in an activity if you feel an interest. I have been an equestrian for a long time and believe you will find a good and quality experience.

I read the guidelines of posting a negative comment mine followed the guidelines however you choose to delete this very important warning to either at risk or any unsuspecting person. I didnt name names it happened to me and I am willing to confront this company (lawfully) of course if need be you cant take this kind of report and not act upon it you are dealing with a very serious potential problem.The public has a right to know this kind of stuff happens at Conventry farms.

I had the worst experience both with the owner (The older man) and the therapist for HIPPO I have a special needs child that rode and the theapist not only was never on time she seldom had help hence we would have to do what we were paying her for. During a visit there the older man reached his hand up under my top and started rubbing me I was so shocked I couldnt react but did get away from him I told my husband in the car and he wanted to go back to confront him but I didnt want us all going to jail. I told the therapist and she said the older man has some dementia and could I just not say anything it could jeopordize her situation. Had this assault happened to my special needs daughter this story would be ending on the front page of our local newspaper. Please do not let this man near your loved one. I would rate this place a zero . the comments I read previously made me ill except for the one that was spot on rude undependable and unsafe is more accurate.i had to hit a star to post ZERO

Coventry farms is a great,great place for horses and riders.I have enjoyed my experiance there so much. The McConnells (owners and trainers) are wonderful, encouraging people who have helped me so much in my riding career. Everyone there is always happy and nurturing. Horses are always taken care of. Summer horse camp is also a great program. Coventry is a wonderful place for kids who are just learning to ride or who want to move up in their riding abilities.

When sending your child for riding lessons, you want them to be safe, happy and, at the same time, challenged. Coventry Farms accomplishes all three of these things. In the years that my daughter has been riding at Coventry, I have seen her transform from a shy little girl to a confident young woman and much of that is due to Jim and Kris McConnell. Conventry Farms has a wonderful riding program, but the family atmosphere is what I enjoy the most. As my daughter says "I love this place."

One of the best riding programs in the denver metro area. The trainers, Jim and Kris McConnell have been in the business for over 20 years and know their stuff. Kris has two grand prix wins under her belt as well has numerous high placings in mid west grand prixs. They care about each and every one of their clients as if they were part of theri own family. Some of the most honest people in the horse industry.

Horrible, rude people and awful treatment of the horses. You will NOT get your monies worth here.
