It's a party every time at this kid- and grownup-friendly Southern/Southwestern/Western theme restaurant, formerly known as the Cowgirl Hall of Fame. The place is decorated to the max with all manner of cowboy/girl paraphernalia; country & western music enhances the experience while you and yours dig into the delicious down-home vittles. The "Kidtown" menu offers such exotic choices as Get Along Lil' Corndoggies, Frito® Pie, and quesadillas, as well as the (hardly ordinary) Happy Trails Hamburger, Farmer's Fried Chicken (boneless strips), and Mac & Cheese. Kids can wet their whistles on a sarsparilla or a root beer float, or standard soft drinks, juices, or milk. The Kids #1 Dessert is the Ice Cream Baked Potato (there's nary a tater involved in this concoction). The regular menu is extensive and includes lots of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, chili, fajitas, enchiladas, and full dinners. Stop by the on-site General Store on your way out for "penny" candy and various cowgirl/cowboy trinkets, or purchase a Cowgirl Hall of Fame tee shirt. To celebrate a special event, you can throw a Kiddie Cowpoke Party in the Cowgirl Portrait Library. Parties are arranged on a case-by-case basis, but basically you can get a choice of two or so items from the kids' menu, beverages, plus a lavishly decorated western-motif cake. The management has a stable of entertainers to call on, and can also create party favor bags from the assorted candy and toys in the General Store. Call to schedule and talk price.
