I'm always looking for fun and affordable things to do with my family and one of the best places we've found over the years is Cox Farms Fall Festival. We've gone to lots of fall festivals in the DC metro area, but speaking from experience, none come close to giving you your money's worth like Cox Farms. They've got giant slides, rope swings, hay rides and farm animals and their babies. I think the whole festival is on over 90 acres!! Over the years they've come to cater to parents with smaller children, having a designated area for the little ones to play, which gives me peace of mind. Every year my kids can't wait to go to Cox Farms and I admit, we go more than once. I've signed up to be a member on the www.coxfarms.com website (it's free so why not???!!) and I get coupons and special offers. And in this economy, who wouldn't want to play hard while paying less? I've tried the other fall festivals and my kids just want to go to Cox Farms. So it's become a tradition in my family every fall. In my opinion, it's the best Fall Festival in the DC metro area. Be careful with their kettle corn though. It's addictive.

Our family has been going to the Cox Farms Fall Festival for 3 generations! Everyone loves it. The whole place is family-friendly and they always have fantastic staff. Highly recommended!
