About Creation Station

Creation Station offers dance classes for children ages 18 months up to 15 years. Founded in 1992 to teach dance, the program has steadily grown to include toddler classes, karate, theater classes, birthday parties, and even a summer camp.

Classes currently offered include ballet, tap, hip-hop, Jazz, musical theater, and more. Check the website for a complete schedule of classes.

We started our daughter at about 2 years old and its amazing how she's improving but more importantly how much she loves her class and the teachers

My daughter loves her ballet/tap class. The teachers are sweet and fun but also disciplined and knowledgeable. There are no uniforms so they can dress up in their princess finest-which is half the fun at this age.

I started my daughter at Creation Station at 18 months. I have been to other dance classes in Los Angeles and find that they only entertain the children with games that have nothing to do with ballet. At Creation Station, my daughter learned passe, plia and arabesque within a month! Our teacher, Miss Kelly, is wonderful with the little ones....she's engaging, organized and full of energy. My daughter is now 2 1/2 and looks forward to her time at class every week.

I've been searching for months and months for a class for my 1 year old, because she loves to dance. Most everything else starts at 3 years old! Not fair! So, we tried it out a class for FREE, and she loved it, immediately caught on, learned some new moves, made some new friends. Affordable and fun. I was very entertained as well and got a little exercise in myself! Lots of happy faces there, so that was really cool to see. Thank you!

My twin toddlers took the Tots and Tutu's Class and we stopped going because I didn't think they were getting anything out of it. They weren't participating that much...kind of just watching. Well... since we have stopped going, they have been saying "jete" and "passe" and dancing around the house ALL DAY! I really didn't understand what they were trying to say at first, then it dawned on me that they were actually picking up ballet terminology at 20 months of age!!! I immediately called back to re-enroll and they have not stopped dancing since... This program is truly unbelievable!!! My kids even call the dog "Tendu" instead of Tandy! It is hilarious! We LOVE Creation Station!!!! If you don't believe your child is old enough for ballet, Creation Station will make you a believer! I promise.

If you're looking for a fun birthday party place, this is it. Creation Station offers several themes for all ages and both sexes and they do a wonderful job in carrying them out. Their classes, of course, are fantastic too. They're instructive and imaginative at the same time.

I really like the approach that Judy and her teachers take to their dance classes. Children can join in at their own pace, and there is plenty of encouragement without pressure. For my shy kid this was perfect. Having said that, it's the real deal. The real ballet terms are used, and there is no dumbing down of technique, just a simple, sweet natured enthusiasm that has toddlers yelling out 'ronds de jambe' and 'arabesque' as they leap about. Everything is kid-oriented and fun and friendly, and they all really have a good time. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Like most parents in LA I tried MANY dance classes for my 3 year old. Most studios, although very professional, had no clue how to engage and teach a child that age. Most of them just seemed to add children's classes to their schedule because they could make some extra money. I then heard from a friend of mine about Creation Station. I had finally found the Holy Grail of Children's Dance!!! You have to just experience it to believe it... Hard to describe other than FANTASTIC!!! I wish I had known about them when my child was 18 months old... They teach amazing dance for that age too! I have told tons of my friends and even strangers about Creation Station... We will be looooooong clients of theirs! I found out they also have locations in NY so when we travel there with our kids, we can take classes there too!

Absolutely the ONLY place in town for children's dance. My 3 year old daughter pleads to go to Creation Station every day! She hasn't stopped dancing around the house since we started and even sleeps in her tap shoes!

I have had my toddler in 3 different dance classes in LA and was loosing hope until I tried Creation Station. They are truly amazing!!! They get it! You really have to try it to see what I mean. Even if you THINK you like your dance studio you are currently at, you have no idea what you and your child are missing until you try Creation Station...

My children have been attending Creation Station classes since they were barely walking. They are now 5 and 9 years old and still go 2 times per week. It is THE MOST AMAZING PLACE FOR DANCE I have ever seen!!! You have to try it to believe it... I just can't say enough...
