about Cross Street Market:

A veritable feast for the eyes and stomach, the Cross Street Market has been serving up buckets of seafood, fresh produce, and other local goodies since 1846. Shop for some of the finest local producers have to offer or stop by for a beer and a dozen oysters on the half shell. A favorite Federal Hill hangout where strollers and Baby Bjorns are as common as trolling bachelors. Don't miss the some of the best sushi in town located in the market's west end. This area stays open until 7pm Fri-Sat.

tips:

If you want to avoid the happy hour crowds, don't come after 5pm on Fridays. Saturday mornings are a good time to bring the kids for a weekend visit.

In between S. Charles and Light Street. Cross streets are E. Cross and W. Cross Streets.
