About Crowden Music Center & School

For musically interested students of all ages and levels of experience, Crowden Center for Music in the Community (CCMC) offers a full range of music lessons, classes, and summer programs.

For young students of strings, piano, and composition, The Crowden School (grades 4-8) combines a rigorous academic curriculum with a distinguished daily music program. Crowden Music Center also hosts chamber music concerts and special events for children and families throughout the year.

Getting There

Crowden Music Center is just two blocks away from the North Berkeley BART station. From San Francisco: Cross the Bay Bridge going east and bear left, following Interstate 80 at the far end of the bridge. Exit at University, turn right at the end of the ramp, and proceed to Sacramento Street. Turn left onto Sacramento. The third stoplight is Rose Street, and the school is to your left on the corner of Rose and Sacramento.
