Cleveland State University?s Child Development Center is located on the north side of the CSU Recreation Center building and is managed by the YMCA of Greater Cleveland. The facility provides care for infants, toddlers, pre-school and school-age children from six weeks through kindergarten age. Enrollment priority is given to Cleveland State students, faculty and staff, but it is also open to the community on a limited basis, due to space constraints. The center is designed to meet the needs of children by providing experiences to enhance their social, emotional, cognitive and physical development. It offers a state-licensed child care program, a low staff-child ratio, and age-appropriate materials and equipment. Financial aid is available to those who qualify. Cuyahoga County voucher subsidies are accepted.
