Culture Shock Dance Center is a performing arts academy offering training in many kinds of dance and performing arts techniques. The extensive repertoire of contemporary dance classes include dance training, ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, breakdance, and street jazz - and range from pre-school developmental classes to professional master classes. The musical theater program includes theater dance, musical theater workshops, scene study, vocal performance, and audition technique.

The Center is also home to the Culture Shock Dance Troupe, a nonprofit professional hip hop dance company and youth outreach program.

Course offerings for children include:

Pre-school Combo is a great way to introduce dance to very young children (ages two to three). The class includes ballet, tap, and song.

Kindergarten Combo is a continuation of Pre-school Combo class but designed for children ages four to six.

Youth Hip Hop is designed for students age six through 12 and provides beginning and intermediate level training.

Pre-school Hip Hop is a special class for younger children eager to bust a groove.
