Cumming City Park Pool in Cumming, GA 30040

Cumming City Park Pool offers outdoor swimming hours, lap swimming, a swim team, and various classes during the summer. Classes are open to anyone ages ten months through 12 years old; the cost is $70 per two-week session. Children are evaluated on the first day of lessons so they may be placed in the appropriate level. A bathing suit and towel should be brought to all lessons. Children should be ready to enter the water when class begins. Mom/Pop & Tot lessons for little ones ages 10 to 36 months (and their significant others!) are designed to introduce kids to water safety and skills at an early age while having the comfort of being in the pool with a parent. Georgia Red Cross certified instructors also teach the parent about safety for the child in and around water. The cost is $50 per two-week session. The Cumming Waves Swim Team children ages five to 18 the opportunity to compete with teams in the North Georgia area as well as in statewide competition through the Georgia Recreation and Parks Association. Children learn swimming strokes and racing techniques from certified coaches through daily practice at the Cumming City Park Pool. Registration is $120 for a family's first swimmer and $110 for each additional swimmer. Included in the fee is a team t-shirt, swim cap, and swim meet fees.
