Founded in 2001, Curio Theatre Company settled in Philadelphia in 2004 after touring nationally and internationally. In addition to quality theater production, Curio offers classes in acting, singing for the stage, and playwriting, as well as a summer arts camp, for children ages six to 18. Curio performs at the Calvary Center for Culture and Community.

The Calvary Center is located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Baltimore Avenue, 48th Street, and Florence Avenue. There is free street parking available, as well as a free city parking lot accessible from Baltimore or Warrington Avenues between 47th and 48th Streets.
