Curry House

This extremely child-friendly restaurant offers Little Tokyo visitors an appealing and inexpensive place for a real Japanese meal. Families are greeted with crayons and paper placemats with pictures to color. High chairs and boosters are available. The pleasantly clean and bright Curry House offers a children's meal for $3.50; it includes a choice of noodles or rice, with or without sauce, corn soup, a vegetable, a small hamburger patty planted with a miniature American flag, AND a package of OREOS! The whole meal, served on a colorful plastic plate, is accompanied by a tiny stuffed animal on a necklace. Juices and sodas come in small plastic glasses with straws. Needless to say, your children will be entertained, well-fed and quite delighted with the presents! Parents can choose from a wide variety of traditional Japanese curry and rice dishes, served with chicken, beef, shrimp, eggs, or vegetables. The service is fast, friendly and accomodating, despite the weekend crowds of Japanese American families with their children.
