The Cuyahoga County Public Library's Beachwood Branch has regular, weekly (or several-times-a-week) "Baby & Me" story/fun times, plus toddler and preschool programs.
We love any time in the cheery children's section, with its 12-foot-wide, ceiling-to-floor, sturdy lacquered tree, complete with a beehive (and bee!).
The story room is also conducive to fun, with its "porthole" windows at all levels (toddlers don't have to climb to peer out). All Fridays & Saturdays are "Puzzle Days" when the story room is filled with kids enjoying the library's puzzles (all levels of difficulty).
Outside, on the library's grounds, budding art interpreters can appreciate several unique sculptures, such as "The Bridge to Knowledge." All Cuyahoga County Branch Library locations offer free wifi internet access.
