about Dallas Heritage Village:

Nestled in 13 wooded acres just south of downtown Dallas, Dallas Heritage Village provides visitors a unique museum experience.

Dallas Heritage Village is a living history museum portraying life in North Texas from 1840 to 1910. The huge property consists of 38 historic structures that made up a city such as a schoolhouse, Victorian homes, a farmstead, a blacksmith shop, and a commercial Main Street with a saloon. Costumed interpreters stay in character during tours. Questions are encouraged as a way to learn about life during this particular time from the past.

Time traveler history camps take place during the summer and invite kids to explore history with all five senses. Registration for these annual camps begins in February. Village Academy classes - two-hour versions of the summer camps - are held in March, July, and August.

Themed birthday parties are available year-round. Choose from the Texas Ranger party, the Pioneer Party, or the Victorian Party. Prices range from $200 to $300 and add-ons, such as goody bags, are available for additional purchase. Each party includes a dedicated staff member to facilitate your party, themed crafts and activities, free admission and parking, and basic paper goods. Parties must be booked at least three weeks in advance. Contact the Reservations Coordinator, Melissa Prycer, at 214.413.3674 for additional information.
