about Dallas World Aquarium:

At The Dallas World Aquarium, visitors walk through a 22,000-gallon tunnel that boasts a panoramic view of reef life. Ten displays present marine life from exotic locations like Palau, Southern Australia, Lord Howe Island, Solomon Islands, Fiji, Bahamas, British Columbia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and Japan.

The Aquarium's exhibits include The Orinoco - Secrets of the River Rainforest; South Africa (an outdoor, lagoon-like exhibit); and the Mundo Maya, an eight-story immersion exhibit that takes visitors from the waters of the Yucatan's gulf coast to the highland rainforests.

Video cameras are strategically placed throughout the facility to provide a live, "fish-eye view" of the waters. The Manatee Cam shows underwater action in the large freshwater river exhibit on the first level. The Lek Cam is located in an off exhibit aviary. And the Otter Cam provides a live action view of the Lobo del Rio exhibit, located between the second and third levels.

The three on-site restaurants are open during lunch. Check the website for details.

Family Memberships are $140-$195 per year.
