Activities & Resources

Offering programs for children ages 18 months to 13 years (including children with special needs), this camp - winner of our 2009 Parents' Picks award for best local day camp - runs from June through August (divided into four week sessions)at the Dave and Mary Alper JCC.

Activities include swimming (instruction begins for three year olds), arts & crafts, gymnastics, cooking, drama, nature, music, and sports (including soccer, football, volleyball, kickball, and basketball). Optional specialty-themed camps include sports, circus, performing arts, and science.

Camp is open to the community. everyone is welcome. JCC members receive a discount and priority registration.

The "J" is a safe and fun place to be! There are so many different activities for the children to chose from....dance....fishing....cooking......sports......arts.....great staff!!

My children have been at the Alper JCC summer camp since they were barely walking (5 summers). They have had fun, learned to swim, made great friends and had amazing summer experiences. They can't wait for summer vacation because they want to go back to camp. The staff is wonderful and they fill the days will a variety of fun activities.

My kids have been attending JCC Summer Camp for several years now. They love it! They are constantly on the go with many activities and choices. They provide supervised Early/After Care programs which is very helpful to working parents. They also have very qualified Counselors!

In this fast-paced crazy world, it is nice to be able to offer your kids an old-fashioned summer with all the activities and a chance to lay back, make friends, and have fun. There are tons of activities and everyone is encouraged to try it all. What a great way to spend your summer!

Our children have spent the last 6 summers at the Dave and Mary Alper JCC Summer Camp. They learned how to swim, made made great friends, been in a highly produced theatrical show and gone on fantastic field trips. Every day at the "J" brings a new adventure! They come home at the end of each day excited about the fun things they did. The family feeling and loving environment truly make my children feel safe and loved. If you want a camp for your children with diversity of people and activities, close to home, filled with tons of hugs and kisses, send them to the "J".

The JCC is amazing! My children have been attening their camp and preschool for years. It is a home away from home. They have wonderful staff and fantastic programs!
