The
Dave and Mary Alper Jewish Community Center (JCC) on the Jay Morton-Levinthal Campus is a beautiful facility offering programming for children ages 6 months and up (and their parents!). The facility offers a complete fitness center, competition size swimming pool, a large gymnasium, tennis courts, roller hockey rink, racquetball courts, and six baseball fields.
It's also home to the
Lisa Ann Watson Children's Discovery Museum.
Day care is offered for children ages three months to six years when parents are participating in JCC activities.
Special events are sponsored and hosted by the JCC, including theatrical shows, art exhibits and children's exhibitions.
The
Early Childhood Development Center offers classes for children ages 16 months to 5 years. Half and full day, and three and five day, options are offered.
Athletics, cultural, and arts programs abound for older children as well. The list is impressive and far too extensive to include here. Check the website or call the facility for a complete list.
Birthday parties at the
JCC are for up to 20 children, ages five to 11 years, and include a 2-hour room rental, a party coordinator, party games, decorations, invitations, pizzas, soda, ice cream cake, set-up and clean up. Party activities can be tailored to your child's interests. All prices include a specialist in the chosen area to facilitate the party fun. Nonmembers pay a slightly higher fee. Call the number listed, and choose ext. 275 for more information or to reserve a date.
Summer camp at the JCC runs from June through August. Specialty camps are also offered.
