David Chicken

What a wonderful show! This was the most interactive show we've had here at our preschool. The children especially loved joining David on the stage with his toy instruments. I would highly recommend the David Chicken Show!

As a psychologist who works with children, it is really nice to see kids listening and interacting with something so positive.

WE LOVE DAVID CHICKEN!! ...and Mama Chicken, and Shelly Chicken, and Super Joanie, too! We were first entertained by the Elvis-inspired, Super-Hero Chicken in 2002 at an event hosted by the Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas and have been faithful fans (and groupies) ever since, following him around the metroplex to catch all of his shows! My husband and I have 2 sons, ages 13 and 15, and 2 daughters, ages 2 and 8, all of which get a kick out of his wacky, motivating songs. His DVD and CDs play in our home or car almost daily, and I admit to singing along to all the songs myself--even if the kids aren't around! As far as I'm concerned, he should have his own TV show!! David Chicken's live performance is a fun, energy-packed, interactive, out-of-your-seat experience that always leaves us wanting more. He always invites the kiddos on stage with him to sing and dance--they get to be stars of the show, not just watch it!! It's obvious that David Chicken truly cares about his audience. Without even realizing it, he has been especially sensitive, welcoming, and encouraging to my 8-year-old daughter, who has Down syndrome. She has learned a number of life skills, from teeth-brushing to stage-rushing, from listening to his songs and participating at his shows. We've invited him back again and again to the family events hosted by the Guild; he never lets us down and is an inspiration to all! My girls and I can hardly wait for his upcoming performance at their birthday party this Spring. We are forever fans of the great David Chicken!!

David has a way with kids that get them out of their seats and dancing to the beat!! My 3yr old son absolutley loves his music! Watching his face light up when one of his many of favorite songs come on, brings true joy :) We were blessed to have David Chicken actually perform for Zander's 3yr old birthday party!! I couldn't tell who was more entertained, the kids or the adults!! We truly all had a blast! I would recommend that any family see him at least once...then you will be hooked :)

David Chicken has become our favorite performer. The music rocks, the performance is awesome, and the music videos are out of this world. My 6 year old little girl simply loves everything David Chicken and can't get enough of the music. The best part about music and show is that adults can enjoy as well, I'm also a huge fan.

David Chicken more than exceeded our expectations when he performed at my 3 year old son's Birthday party. Though he usually performs for larger groups he easily entertained our smaller group of children (ages 1-8). It is quickly obvious that he genuinely cares about the children he is singing and dancing with and they respond to this by displaying their own uninhibited singing and dancing talent. We would recommend David to anyone looking for entertainment at a children's event.

We love David Chicken! I have a 3 year old and an 8 month old. Both boys love his concerts. They dance and bounce and have a great time. My oldest loves Super Chachie. This is a great way to spend time with your kids.

Our whole family LOVES David Chicken! We've been going to his shows all over the Dallas area for several years (our 5 and 7 year old are both such big fans he gave them their own stage passes) and he's always fun, entertaining, upbeat and great about including the kids. I've gotten to know him a little over time and know that under that chicken hat and purple and green costume of his, he has a big heart and is doing this because he loves to make kids smile!

I have been a big fan of David Chicken even before my daughter was born. His songs are catchy and smart enough that adults will find themselves dancing and singing right along with him! My daughter is 2 now and she LOVES David's CDs and DVD. We have been to his shows and she has gone up on the stage and danced. She sings the songs in the car and dances to them at home. She'll request her favorites all the time. David Chicken sends out great messages about hygeine and exercise while making it fun and silly. He's a giant ball of energy and is so much fun to watch perform. It's definately a good time!

I am the mother of four children from 3rd to 6th grade and I have attended more than 6 of David Chicken's events. I have found myself dancing and singing right along with the kids. In this day in age when our children are being exposed to much too much too soon, it is extremely refreshing to enjoy GOOD CLEAN FUN. David Chicken offers this. It's fun for children, teenagers, and yes EVEN ADULTS!

David Chicken is an awesome entertainer whose enthusiasm and excitement has captured our whole family!He has captivated the heart of my 3 year old with his original songs and dances!My son loves to tell everyone he sees about David Chicken, his cool songs and the chicken on his head!!Oh yeah....my husband and I really dig him ,too!=)Now we all know how to Scakle!!!!

David is wonderful! My kids watch his DVD over and over. The best part is his music is fun, creative and something parents can enjoy as well.

My family and I first saw David Chicken a little over a year ago. We have a 5,7 and 10 year old. Going to David's concerts have proven to be some of the best family fun time ever. The music is geared towards the 3rd grade and under crowd, but our 10 year old son proudly displays his David Chicken hat, and sings along with the music when we play it in the car. David is fresh, original and shows a genuine zeal and passion for entertaining children with a positive upbeat humor. David Chicken has succeeded where so many others have failed. David NEVER condesends or talks down to the kids. He entertains his audience with a positve fun show that respects their entellegence. Be warned though, when you take your kids to see David Chicken, be ready to get involved and dance along. His music is just too much fun to sit still with!

A few years back, I went to a David Chicken show with my daughter and thought I was making a sacrifice to attend with her. I had NO IDEA I was going to enjoy the concert and the music as much as I did! We purchased the David Chicken CD (and shirts) and sang the songs all the way home! It's the best show in town!
