The DeCordova Museum School is the largest non-degree granting studio art program in Massachusetts. It offers outstanding art instruction for children, inspiring summer art camp for kids, and an elegant gallery for student and faculty exhibitions! Special studios are designated for children's classes, and classes are often held outside, where students can use the natural setting as a subject of art making. Classes are available for children ages five and older, and range from drawing, ceramics, and painting to photography, sculpture, and portrait drawing. Summertime workshops are offered in July and August, and run from two to five days. Call 781.259.0505 for more details.
getting there:
From Route 2 West, take Route 128/I95 south. Exit at Trapelo Road/Lincoln. Take a right on Trapelo Road. Drive approximately 3 miles to Lincoln Center, a five road intersection. Sandy Pond Road is directly ahead. The DeCordova Museum is approximately 1/2 mile ahead, on your right.
