My son and his friend (both 9) started at the Mesa school a few months ago and the friend's mom and I are thrilled with the quality of the programs offered. The instructors are First class, very patient, positive, caring and have amazing energy. We just came back from a Black Belt graduation / demonstration and it was a stunning experience. My son's confidence and attitude have already improved. We just tried it on a special offfer but the experience we've had so far is so positive that we definitely are in for the long haul. As for instructors being "rude or arrogant", I can assure that in spite of their high level of skill and reputation, they are some of the most humble people I have ever met. The previous ratings are light years apart from our experience. Happy Mesa Mom.

Their instrcutors are rude and arrogant.
Fred Depalma is a con Artist.
They close schools becuase they cannot pay their rent and offer no restitution.

They steal from their clients.
Instructors are terrible.

They closed the Tatum location in North Scottsdale and are still billing me....

Our 5 year old tried karate before but we found the instructors were unable or unwilling to work with young children. We are thrilled about DePalma's "Little Dragons" program that is geared specifically towards this age group. It is a high energy, positive and FUN program that allows the kids to learn self discipline, perseverance, goals, and so much more.

If you sign up with this company and are unable to pay...be aware..you are signing a legally binding contract. I am a single parent and when I had a job change and could no longer afford to send my kids to their school they sued me for breach of contract. Be aware of what you are doing before you sign the contract. They will sue you.

My family has been with DePalma's Team USA for 9 years. I beleive that my children has learned more than just the physical benefits but also the mental benefits as well. They learned courtesy, respect, discipline, self discipline and to persevere. Also they are all "A" students. Thanks DePalma's Team USA.

My children have been studying Martial Arts with DePalmas Team USA Martial Arts for almost 8 years. The benefits of this program are incredible. They have learned respect, self-discipline, self-control, self-esteem, physical fitness AND they can all defend themselves if they are put in that kind of situation. Martial Arts is one of the best sports out there and DePalmas is the place to learn it!!!
