Dieu Donné Papermill was founded in 1976 as a non-profit hand papermaking studio in the Soho art district of New York City. Adult papermaking workshops are offered and would be appropriate for teens 13 and up. Classes are held in the evenings between 6:30pm and 9:30pm.
Birthday parties for kids ages five and up are available on Saturday mornings and afternoons. While birthday cake and refreshments will have to be enjoyed elsewhere, (no food is allowed in the studio), children can create and paint paper cupcakes during the one and a half hour basic papermaking workshop.
