about Dimple Dell Regional Nature Park:

Not your typical city park, Dimple Dell Regional Nature Park is situated on 644 acres of natural area. It follows a dry creek bed, running between 300 East and about 2900 East, just north of 10600 South. A visit to this park really makes a person feel like they've left the city behind (as long as they don't look up to see the houses perched above the park). The trails through Dimple Dell allow for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. Given the size of the park, visitors are bound to see plenty of native plants and animals. Bring along a pair of binoculars to do a little bird watching while there.

Granite Park Trailhead can be found at the northeast end of the park, where there is a neighborhood park with picnic facilities. Ten other trailheads exist in Dimple Dell Regional Nature Park, and restrooms are available at three of them.

An outdoor amphitheater is available at the park, and can be reserved by calling 801.483.5473.
