The first review must have been written by the owner. $50 bucks for a family of four is WAY overpriced. The walk takes about 30 minutes. Sadly, the dinosaurs are cheesey. The fossil hunt is lame. The playground equipment provided the most entertainment for our 4 and 2 year olds. If you are in Glen Rose, by all means go to Fossil Rim, but don't waste your time here.

I asked this item to be added to the activity list. We found Dinosaur World from a brochure at the Irving Visitor's Center, near Dallas. We took our children, age 4 and 2, and they loved it. There is a dinosaur head that they can place their head in and take a picture. The walk around the dinosaurs is 0.8 miles and is lushly decorated with natural plants. If your child loves dinosaurs, this is the place for them. The dino dig was a big hit for my children; although you need to pay attention to when the open dig times are. The dino dig is included in the children's admission price, but is an additional $2.00 for adults who want to dig. Each paying person can dig for fossils and can take three fossils with them. There are plenty of picnic tables available for lunch. We spent almost two hours here, including the gift shop. If you want anything dinosaur related, this gift shop is the place to be. Be prepared to spend a few dollars in the gift shop. You can preview some of the items on their website. Note: The $4.00 dinosaurs in the gift shop have squeekers in them like most dog toys. Thank goodness we found it out before we took them on our 1000 mile drive home. The $2.00 dinosaurs were silent and a great addition to our drive home.
