about Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course:
Remember those hippos in tutus dancing with the crocodiles from the movie Fantasia? Well, they're back and hovering over you as you putt through the most memorable scenes from the movie at this miniature golf course!
Actually, Fantasia Gardens offers two types of mini-golf experiences. For the "serious" golf players - and ones who want to escape a three-year old trying to putt a ball through a cave - Fantasia Fairways is designed like a true championship golf course. You won't find any cartoon characters here, but watch the sandtraps. They're diabolical, even in such small form.
The Gardens feature the more traditional mini-golf holes. You're surrounded by classical music as you work through the course. In fact, your performance on certain holes controls the music and certain other clever effects. Some of the holes with steep inclines are extremely challenging, especially for little ones.
Be prepared to fetch your ball from other holes than the one you're playing on. Those things really bounce! The highlight is The Sorcerer's Apprentice-themed hole near the end. Beware the broomsticks... 'Nuff said.
Enter through the Starter Shack, where you can purchase snacks or play at the arcade. Or let the kids play the course as you relax at a table in the shade.
