Standing majestically inside the new
Disney's California Adventure Park, Disney's
Grand Californian Hotel is the first built entirely within one of the Theme Parks.
Guests at the
Californian enjoy the shortest walk to
Disneyland, taking a shortcut through
Downtown Disney (although we're perplexed as to why a monorail stop wasn't added here - there's an obvious call and place for it).
The 750 Guest rooms overlook Disney's California Adventure or the
Downtown Disney area. The hotel's three pools include a quiet pool, a pool with a tree slide, and a Mickey Mouse-shaped children's pool.
Dining: Napa Rose Restaurant celebrates the bounty of California's rich agricultural resources, while
Storytellers Cafe surrounds you with fascinating California stories and legends, and offers some of the best food we've had in a Disney restaurant. The $6.50
kids' menu includes french fries and gives options that include mini burgers, make your own pizza, a fruit plate, chicken nuggets, cheese quesadilla, or macaroni.
The
Character breakfast here is run by Chip 'n' Dale and Pluto.
