A huge sports complex that hosts a wealth of amateur and professional events and competitions, Disney's Wide World of Sports is also home to the Atlanta Braves' spring training camp. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Orlando Magic also periodically train at the facility.
Athletes of all ages and abilities participate in events year-round at the complex. The Pop Warner Super Bowl is played yearly and you'll see plenty of ponytails bouncing up and down during the Cheer & Dance National Championships. Other baseball, softball, and track and field events are held throughout the year.
The Sports Experience is a multi-sport interactive playground open on all event days at the complex. It's got a good number of football, soccer, and basketball skill challenges and a play area for kids.
Besides the in-stadium concessions available during events, you can "catch" a bite to eat at The All Star Cafe, the sports-themed restaurant. Sit in a baseball mitt-shaped booth and watch your favorite teams on the large-screen televisions. Fare is decent American grub, with burgers, fries, and some additional specialty items.
The complex is home to two gift shops as well. D Sports offers Disney character merchandise, and Disney's Clubhouse sells authentic Major League Baseball uniforms and baseball memorabilia.
Event schedules are always being updated, so visit our calendar or contact the complex to find out what's happening.
